Google Talk is in Open Beta |

Google has released a beta of their instant messenger client named Google Talk.
It appears very simple in function, uses your gmail account login, and
is compatible with Jabber networks. The client also includes voice
capabilities, with plans to add support for other clients, such as AOL
Instant Messenger and MSN Messenger in the future.
